We've been out and about enjoying the early Minnesota spring. We've had numerous walks, jogs, and playdates at the park. Eric recently made a gate for our deck, so Lauryn has an extension for her playzone when we are cooking in the kitchen. It is constantly "outside"..."outside"..."swing".... Sometimes, we've just got other things we need to get done! But now with the gate, she can enjoy herself and we don't have to worry!
We also recently joined the community center. Eric enjoys taking her there for many things, including the ball pit, art time, gym time and pool time We plan on fully taking advantage of our membership! Lauryn loves hula-hoops, and she played with them like crazy at a community center event a few weeks ago. She also now likes playing "kissing duck" in the bathtub.

Lauryn seems to be picking up new words pretty fast.
