PEEF is back!

We decided to use PEEF to take pictures of Ethan, just like we did with Lauryn.  A picture every month until he is 1 with PEEF, so we can see how much he has grown.  Here are the 1 month and  2 month pictures...along with pictures including big sister, because of course she has to be in them!!

Easter Blessings!

We had a fabulous Easter.  Lauryn made the weeks leading up to Easter the best, as she is so inquisitive about everything "Jesus". She know the entire resurrection story and even asked questions we didn't know the answers to.  We have a great 6 minute video of her telling the story with her resurrection eggs - priceless!  And she received applause at church during the Palm Sunday children's sermon when she randomly shouted "Jesus died on the cross to save us from our sins, because he loves us!"

Ethan was about the same size as our ham dinner...large ham, not small baby!  He was very handsome in his purple polka-dot vest that grandma Pat made to match his big sister's Easter dress.  Let's hope when he is 10 and Lauryn is 14 that he is not embarrassed to be dressed like his big sister :-)

Of course, we did the traditional egg hunts and egg coloring.  One egg hunt at church and one at grandma & grandpa McMahan's.  We attempted a community egg hunt, but were a bit too late! Although we don't talk about the Easter bunny, she had some great one liners about the eggs and the Easter bunny! "The Easter bunny is so special" and "oh...I spot one" and "ohhh...there is something in it!!"...all with her dramatic tones and facial expressions.

We can't believe Ethan is almost 2 months old!  Pics to come of him and Peef at 1 month and 2 months of age.  Lauryn is still a great helper and such a caring big sister.  We couldn't ask for anything more!!!

The FARM!

We were fortunate enough to visit the Gruis farm to spend some time with great uncle Layton and great aunt Missy.  The cows were calving and we got to watch it on TV - that was a hit with Lauryn.  She really enjoys seeing all the animals and being on the farm, and we are so blessed to have such great family to visit!  Ethan was able to meet great-grandma Silvia and Lauryn entertained Sylvia, as always!  We can't wait until our next visit to the farm!!
