Well, well, we are three weeks into the school year and things are flying by!
Lauryn started preschool the week of Aug 27th and absolutely LOVES it. In fact, we are working on not having a meltdown when mom picks her up to go home. She cries and has a fit because she does not want to leave. That makes us happy and sad all at the same time! Her teacher says she is an excellent listener and does exactly what she is told to do. Maybe we need to pay the teacher to come home with us!
We are still getting used to the daily 9-4 schedule with her at preschool and her being quite tired and crabby when coming home. One friend said to note that it will last until MEA....really?!?!? Agh!
Other than getting into the swing of things this fall, we continue to take advantage of activities and fun whenver we can. We are excited to hit up the orchards and go pumpkin picking when it finally decides to cool off for good. Lauryn is excited for Halloween, already!?!? And she LOVES cheering for those Vikings, even if they are 0-2. We managed to get more candy at the Carver parade last weekend than we get when trick-or-treating. It was a fun time with friends and neighbors! We also spent quite a long day at the science museum a few weekends ago, after mom ran another half marathon. That was quite tiring for mom, but Lauryn loved it!
