Yep, you read it correctly...Lauryn is CRABBY and weighs 9lbs and 11ounces!!! We had our 2 month appointment today, and her stats came in at 9.11 and she is 21 inches long! That is a weight gain of 4lbs 4oz since we brought her home and a growth of 2inches in length. Woohoo!!! With that awesome news, came the wonderful set of 2 month shots. And wow, if you want to see a happy-go-lucky baby turn from cute smiles into a screaming horror in a matter of seconds, just shove 3 shots in her legs. She was inconsolable for about 5 minutes, and then crashed. The rest of the day has been a crabby, sleepy baby. We are trying to continue to "exercise" those legs so she is not in so much pain tomorrow. Hopefully that works!
And for those of you who are wondering, her weight and head circumference (37.5cm) put her in the 25th percentile, and her height in the 10th percentile. We are slowing working up to being in line with those 2 month olds who were full-term!
