Cabin FUN!

We were fortunate to win a silent auction bid at church, which led us to a cabin near Siren, WI for four days. It was great to be able to relax, spend some time on the water, watch Eric fish, and just be without worries for a few days. Lauryn was an awesome sport, as she enjoyed wearing her life jacket on the pontoon, and had fun watching daddy, Thor, & Odin fish and play in the water. She even caught her first "baby" fish...oh wait, that was Eric catching those off the dock! The good 'ole misquito population was out with a vengence, so we enjoyed nature from the screened in porch. The pontoon only stalled on us once, and we were lucky to get a hold of some people who live on the lake year round to come out and give us a nice little tow back to the dock :-) It was much appreciated as beaching the pontoon and walking 1/2 way around the lake with an infant may have put a damper on things! As always, Lauryn's easy going demeanor allowed us to enjoy every minute and know that we can certainly take her on adventures, as she adapts quite well!
