Well, Lauryn Elizabeth is changing like crazy! We took her 5 month pictures, and can't believe how chubby her cheeks are getting and how long she is. She continues to make us laugh everyday, and of course we cuddle like crazy when she flirts with those eyelashes!
Lauryn has a bit of a cough and cold. Not bad, considering Eric ended up with strep and bronchitis, and Megan ended up in urgent care yet again. It has been over a month since the illnesses hit the Gruis household, and we are hoping they are on the way out. We hope this passes through Lauryn quickly, and we can be healthy for the rest of the season.
We went to the Science Museum on the 10th. We wanted to see the Dead Sea Scrolls exhibit before it was too late, and we were able to do so. We really enjoyed the exhibit, and Lauryn enjoyed all the other exhibits. She was so good while we were there, and she made us happy parents as were heard other screaming and crying babies, and we were proud ours wasn't joining in. Lauryn was very intrigued by the light exhibits, the motion exhibits, and the weather exhibits. It will be lots of fun to bring her back when she is older and able to interact with everything.
Eric is bringing Lauryn into daycare on Tuesday for pictures! It will be cute to see how the picture of all the infants turns out, and we are excited to see how she smiles for a different camera. Guess we need to go find something cute to wear...
